It's a drizzly day here in the mid Michigan area.
Kinda cold and doesn't quite feel like spring yet.
Grateful it isn't snowing.... ha! ( I say that very carefully , 'cause it could . )
I've been working on paperwork the last week or so. Not my favorite thing to do.
I'd much rather be junkin', painting, creating or listing something to sell.
I'm trying to embrace paperwork - as it is something that we all have to deal with .... but I find myself easily distracted when working on it. (example : posting a little something on the blog. ..... I have to chuckle at myself !)
Thought I'd take a moment and share with you some of my lace trim finds from last summer.
First of all I would like to establish that I do not sew. I have thought many times about trying it ( again ) ....maybe at an older age I would have more patience than I did when I tried it 100 years ago. *wink* It's tempting to try again....but as of today, I do not own a sewing machine.
Saying that, I am highly attracted to sewing articles when out junking / treasure hunting. Vintage or new .... I usually buy it. ( I think it is a little strange that I'm so attracted to it since I don't sew!? )
Anyway ..... I came across a box of lace trim last summer at a tag sale. I couldn't pass it up. It was a great price.
I finally pulled it out last month and went through it. There was much more than what I had originally thought. Fun!!!
I began listing several pieces in my Etsy store. I didn't get through all of it, but I made a dent. I have much more to dig out to sell.
Here are some of the listings....
and one more....
I also listed some vintage hankies.... they were some I found at a sale right around the corner from where I live. At a FARM! I love going to farm sales. I always find treasures!
You can view all of these in my Etsy Store.
I also came across this hand towel. Cracks me up!!!
"Chicken n Wine"
This is for sale in my eBay store.
That's all for now.
I'd better get back to my .... well, you know ..... the "p" word.
Enjoy your day!
Happy Treasure Hunting!
Thanks for stopping by.... means so much!
