Progress and Change.

"Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything" - George Bernard Shaw

Change change change. That has become the regular in my life and I'm sure in your life as well. Life is full of change.

After moving back to Michigan. I tried to get my junkin' business back up and running. I experienced some failures. Some of the failures have to do with me. Some of the failures have to do with not being able to find my niche.
Nothing seemed to be working.
So, after accepting it ( which took me awhile ) - I took on a part time job (in March).
I continued to sell on line, but it just wasn't going as I had hoped.

I recently was offered another position for the Christmas season working at one of the craft stores we all love to shop at.
I have been working more hours and learning how to run a cash register ( again ). I'm also building up my stamina regarding standing on my feet for several hours at a time.

I have to say, I feel old. oy!

At this point, I  have my eBay store up and running...but I've put my Etsy store on hold. Not enough time or energy to keep them both going.

I took some time yesterday and added a few auctions to my store. Mostly Christmas merchandise.
One of my favorites for the week is this vintage Christmas pillowcase. ( You can view the auction here: Vintage Christmas Pillowcase - Jolly Santa! )

The other is this Hallmark Wizard of Oz ornament.

Life is full of twists and turns. I'm trying to remind myself that I'm on an adventure.... but I'm ready for the journey to sort itself out and become more of a lifestyle instead of a roller-coaster ride. I'm sure many of you can relate.

Hope you enjoy your week. Thanks for stopping by.
Always always appreciated!!
Happy Treasure Hunting!
Hugs,
Julie

Life really is full of twists and turns..I've had to make changes in what I do, too...and it is always an adjustment, isn't it? But it does seem to turn out for the best in the end...usually in a way you never see coming! xo

Hi Julie! Oh yes, do I know what it's like to be dealing with changes. Seems there's always something popping up! Just look at how far behind I am in reading blogs! I just can't seem to find enough time to get everything done. Sorry your junking didn't work out but hey, maybe it just wasn't the right time and later on you'll have another opportunity that will be spot on! I really hope we can get caught up with each other soon! I miss our chats! Talk to you soon! Hugs, Leena
