Appreciation + Thanksgiving = Grateful for YOU!

Happy Thanksgiving!

“We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.”

I couldn't let this Thanksgiving go by without thanking YOU for being in my life!
I am soooooo grateful for you .
You've been there for me during a season of difficult challenges.
Encouraging me, praying for me and loving on me.
I'm so blessed.
I appreciate you....to the moon and back, I appreciate you!

Last year was a blur. There wasn't much time to post on the blog....but believe me , I really wanted to express my gratefulness. I just couldn't get it together to do so.
I was spinning and grieving.

Last year, I spent my Thanksgiving with my friends  Jones, Andrea and Kari.

Kari and Andrea had also experienced the recent passing of their Mothers.
We were all in the same boat. None of us really wanted to have a traditional Thanksgiving.
It was too painful.

So, we decided to kick it up and do something out of the box.
Something that wouldn't be the norm for us. Something that wouldn't spark the pain of the void.
We huddled together and decided on a brunch.
We all contributed to the meal.
The meal had nothing to do with turkey or mash potatoes.
It was a breakfast brunch.

I think it was the best thing for all of us. We still talk about it - a year later.
It was a perfect way for us to celebrate that year.
It was the beginning of new memories for us.

I'm hopeful for the future. It looks promising. I'm excited to share with you the next chapter.

I will be spending my day with Mike, and my family friends here in Michigan.

I'm really looking forward to it.
Looking forward to spending time with them - and back to a traditional Thanksgiving meal.

I  will be celebrating all the many many blessings that have been given to me.
Friends and family are at the top of my list.

I wish  you and your family, a Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you, again, for being here. Means so much.

With Love and Hugs,
Julie
