The Little Red Wagon

It's been a month since I arrived back in Michigan.
I've been out junkin' in my neighborhood a couple of times.

I recently went to a  sale that was in a barn.
My heart went pitter patter when I pulled up the drive.

There were all kinds of wonderful finds sitting in the grass, prior to entering the barn.
My eyes locked onto a little red wagon, sitting off to the side.
I wandered over to take a better look.... it was love at first sight.
Thinking this piece was going to be way over my budget.... I prepared myself.

I wandered through the barn....found some treasures, and then went to the check out.

After chatting with the lovely couple that were hosting the sale, I asked about the wagon.
The gentleman proceeded to tell me all about it, how old he thought it was and that he had recently seen a program that had taken one just like it and refurbished it.
I thought right then, this is why you prepared yourself ! Don't get your hopes up, Julie!

I went back over and looked at it one more time, basically to say goodbye to it! hahahaaa!
I took a deep breath and asked how much they are pricing it at. To my shock, he said $20. I about feel over.

I couldn't pay for it  fast enough.
I tried not to jump up and down in front of the couple, but on the inside I was jumping up and down! LOL

After paying for the wagon, I pulled it up to my car to load it . I think I was skipping.

It had a new home, and it was going to be one of those finds, that for now, I will keep.

After the barn sale, I went directly over to our local Meijer store and proceeded to the garden section.
Gathered up some pots and herbs.
Couldn't wait to go home to clean up the wagon and get the herbs potted.
I always wanted one of these little red wagons to put on the front porch when I lived in Tennessee....

I'm not unpacked yet, but I happened to know where some of my garden tools are.

I dug out the updated tools to pot the herbs,  and used the vintage tools for display purposes ( additional vintage eye candy ) .

Love!

It's been a couple of weeks since I planted the herbs... they have grown tremendously and look full and happy in their new home.

I'm thrilled to have finally scored a little red wagon for my potted plants.
I think my Mom was with me and guiding me on this one....she always knew how much I wanted a little red wagon.

I'm still working on pricing my inventory for the new booth.... it's taking a little longer than I had hoped.
I'm not moving as fast as I use to. LOL

Have a great day!
As always, thanks for stopping by and checking in.
I appreciate!

Hugs and Happy Treasure Hunting,
Julie
