The WaCkY WeDneSdaY Giveaway! Romantic Home Sewing Book.

The WaCkY WeDneSdaY Giveaway!
Romantic Home Sewing
Cottage -Style Projects to Stitch
for the Home.
By: Christina Strutt
Amy Sly - Jacket Design
Jacket Photographers  by Lucinda Symons

When I’m out garage sale-ing, I love to hunt for vintage notions and fabric.

The truth is I can barely stitch a straight line.
However,  I love to sell vintage and current notions and fabric. There is just something special about that category for me.

Somewhere along the path of my  treasure hunting journey this past summer, I found this amazing book.
I love the photos and inspiration....makes me want to sew! (and that says a lot for me)

This book is all about the romantic cottage look.
30 easy to sew projects.
Pillows, Aprons, Duvet Covers, Lamp Shades and more.

I’m offering it for the Wacky Wednesday Giveaway!
Since it comes from my treasure hunting excursions, you know that it has been “gently used “.
It’s in very good condition.

Tell me, do you sew.... what is your niche ?

So if I prick my finger with a pin while working on a project featured in this book, I CAN'T sue you? Well, then I'm out! :-)

Oooh! Pick me! I am just learning to sew and think this would be so much fun! Right now I have sewn three doll dresses (which I am rather proud of), so that's the extent... sad? Perhaps LOL. But I am determined to have fun!

Hey! Don't know why I haven't joined your blog before-but I'm here now! I've been sewing since I was in high school. Due to economics, I made most of my 4 kids' clothes including Easter dresses and little suits for my boys. I don't love to sew; but I'd love to have this book! : )

I have a great sewing machine that doesn't get used nearly enough these days. But I have LOTS of sewing projects to do at our BIG project! :-)

I was given my Mother's sewing machine that she made all of clothes with...from bathing suits, shorts, dresses, local cutie pie pageant outfits, mother daughter matching outfits, etc.....I feel so honored to have it....now my taste & interests are to make my home a cottage style environment/decor & would love the opportunity for some fresh creative ideas this book may provide! Thanks so much for your consideration in picking me!

I would love the book as I've been wanting to learn how to make lampshades for the longest time. It's also a beautiful book. Thanks for this wonderful opportunity.

XOXOXO to you for offering this. I love the romantic home look and love my 50 year old sewing machine, Singer, that I've been sewing with my whole life. We're quite the pair, we've been together longer than my husband and I. We(Singer and I)can't wait to sew some beautiful additions to our home. Thank you!

I believe vintage fabrics, trims and laces pick up positive energy from all those who have handled them before which accounts for their hold over me.

Hi Julie! Thank you for your sweet note today, etc… : ) I really appreciate it and I'm happy to meet you! That book looks lovely. My mom has always been a wonderful seamstress, so I grew up loving to sew my own pretty little decorative accessories and what-nots. I hope you're having a wonderful day! Julie M.

Well, like you I love to collect vintage sewing supplies but I don't get to sew as much as I'd like. Lately it's been mostly craft projects, maybe a few home items -- pillows, curtains, kitchen towels. Looks like a beautiful book!
